HOW YOU CAN HELP It's all too easy for those of us living in the First World to be completely ignorant of what the small change in our pockets can mean to others. We never truly understand just how deep the poverty and daily tragedy strike, until we've actually been there and experienced it for ourselves. The photographs we have used on this web site are genuine; these are the children of Upendo, smiling and happy and joyful - but we haven't shown you the other side. Here you see the results of what Upendo can do in these kids' lives - what YOU can do in these kids' lives. This is the side we love to show! But many of these children have been literally saved from certain death by starvation - and it takes so little to do so! There are so many different ways to help the staff and children of Upendo - sending letters or emails of support, donating your time, fundraising, giving material goods, making financial donations of any size, supporting a particular project, or sponsoring a child. Please explore our many ways to contribute, and find the most suitable for you.
