All of the children we look after either have both parents dead, or have one parent remaining - but who is too sick to look after the children. Often the grandmother, aunts and uncles or an older sibling have taken the child in, but are themselves struggling and cannot cope, either financially or physically. The project supports these relatives to take care of the child. |
